First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study looked at different X-ray methods to see which best shows arthritis damage in the knee. Researchers compared several X-ray views to MRI and actual tissue samples from knee replacement surgery. The goal was to help doctors choose the right X-ray to decide if a patient needs a partial knee replacement. The study was stopped early with only 8 participants, so results are limited.
