First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looked at whether special imaging techniques can predict how knee osteoarthritis will get worse over time. Researchers followed 167 people with knee osteoarthritis for 3 years, using MRI, X-rays, and bone texture analysis. The goal was to find patterns that could help identify patients at high risk for disease progression, which could improve future clinical trials and treatments.
