First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 26, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This pilot study tests a new assessment tool called IA3-CP for cancer patients aged 65 and older. The tool gathers information on aging-related issues, mental health, health behaviors, and social factors to help doctors provide better, more personalized care. 35 participants are randomly assigned to use the tool with or without questions about social determinants of health. The goal is to see if the tool can be easily used in clinics and improve the quality of care and patient-doctor communication.
