Summary
This study looked at whether training the muscles used for breathing can improve heart function and mood in women who have gone through menopause. Researchers measured how quickly the body adjusts to exercise and how far participants could walk in six minutes. The study involved 28 women aged 50 to 75 who were overweight but otherwise healthy.
