First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 39 times
Summary
This study tests whether high-intensity pulsed electromagnetic field therapy can reduce pain and improve strength in older adults with knee osteoarthritis. About 64 people aged 60 and older with knee pain will receive either joint-only or joint-plus-muscle treatment, plus a home exercise program. The goal is to see if this non-invasive approach provides lasting pain relief and better mobility.
