First seen Apr 06, 2026 · Last updated May 04, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a person's genetic makeup affects how well the heart failure drug metoprolol works. Researchers will calculate a genetic score for 100 adults with heart failure and compare drug responses between those with high and low scores. The goal is to learn why some people benefit more from beta-blockers than others, paving the way for personalized treatment.
