First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study aims to understand why some families have a higher chance of developing cancer. Researchers are collecting blood and saliva samples from about 992 people with cancer and their relatives. The samples will be stored and used later to study genetic links to cancers like breast, ovarian, and colon cancer. Participants also give a family cancer history, but no medical information is shared between family members.
