NCT ID NCT05554601
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 14, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study tests whether gamification—using game-like elements and social rewards—can help overweight veterans with high blood pressure become more physically active. About 725 veterans will take part in a 9-month program where they either compete or collaborate with others to increase their daily steps. The goal is to see if this approach leads to lasting improvements in activity, weight, and blood pressure.
