Summary
This study looked at fluid from leg wounds in 13 adults with venous leg ulcers to learn why some wounds take a long time to heal. Researchers collected samples over 24 hours using special bandages and swabs, and measured wound size. No treatments were tested; the goal was simply to gather information about the wound environment.
