Summary

This study examines how a park-based afterschool program called Fit2Lead affects the mental health, resilience, physical fitness, and violence prevention of teens aged 12-17 in Miami-Dade County. Researchers will analyze data from 1,000 participants to see changes in weight, blood pressure, fitness, anxiety, depression, and other well-being measures. The goal is to understand if community park programs can improve youth health outcomes.
