Summary

This study tests a new device called FARAFLEX that uses pulsed field ablation to treat people with persistent or occasional atrial fibrillation (an irregular heartbeat). About 250 adults will receive either the new catheter or a standard one to see if it safely and effectively creates electrical block in the heart. The goal is to improve heart rhythm control without long-term medication.
