NCT ID NCT07457437
First seen Mar 11, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a structured exercise program can help overweight and obese women aged 25-50 maintain muscle mass and physical function while taking the weight-loss drug tirzepatide. Participants will be split into two groups: one taking tirzepatide alone, and the other combining tirzepatide with a 20-week progressive resistance exercise program. The goal is to see if exercise can prevent muscle loss during medically induced weight loss.
