Summary

This study looked at whether losing weight through a controlled diet, along with a regular exercise program, can improve fitness in obese older adults. 180 sedentary people aged 60 and older with a BMI between 30 and 35 took part. The goal was to see if more fat loss leads to greater gains in aerobic capacity and walking endurance.
