First seen Apr 05, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study looks at whether giving people with heart or lung disease real-time air quality information helps them exercise outdoors with less pollution exposure. About 80 adults with conditions like asthma, COPD, or heart disease will use a smartphone app to guide their outdoor walks. The goal is to see if this approach is practical and can reduce how much pollution they breathe in during exercise.
