First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looks at whether injecting the blood thinner enoxaparin into the arm or the abdomen works better for preventing blood clots in people with severe obesity (BMI over 40). Researchers will measure drug levels in the blood to see which injection site gives the right amount. The study plans to enroll 80 adults who need clot prevention.

What this could lead to
If successful, this could show the best injection site for enoxaparin in people with severe obesity, improving clot prevention.
