AI reads your Heart's electrical signals to predict failure years in advance
NCT ID NCT07519434
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tested whether artificial intelligence (AI) could predict a person's risk of developing a specific type of heart failure (HFrEF) up to 5 years in the future, using only a standard ECG. Researchers analyzed data from over 286,000 adults in China and the US. The goal was to create a simple, widely available tool to identify high-risk individuals before symptoms appear, allowing for earlier prevention or treatment.
