First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 10, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study watches 250 adults who remain unconscious after a cardiac arrest to see if early brain tests can predict when they will wake up. Researchers use EEG, pupil checks, and ultrasound to find clues. The goal is to help doctors know sooner who will recover, but this study does not test a new treatment.
