Summary
This study looks at whether obesity raises heart disease risk in African American men and women. Researchers will measure body fat, blood fats, and how well insulin works in 2000 healthy non-diabetic adults. The goal is to understand why heart disease risk factors may differ between African Americans and Caucasians.
