Massive review aims to unlock secrets of brain implant success

Summary
This study aims to understand how well deep brain stimulation (DBS) works in everyday practice for people with Parkinson's disease, essential tremor, or dystonia. Researchers will look back at the medical records of up to 5,000 people who have already had or are eligible for the DBS procedure. The goal is to collect real-world evidence on how symptoms change over time, up to five years after the device is implanted.
