Summary

This study tests a program called SANOS that teaches Mexican adults how to eat healthy without spending a lot of money and how to be more active. About 1,785 overweight or obese participants will receive counseling and be followed for up to a year. The goal is to see if this approach can help people lose weight and reduce their risk for cancer, heart disease, and diabetes.
