Summary
This study looks at how weight loss surgery (bariatric surgery) affects memory and thinking skills in people with obesity who also have memory problems or dementia. Researchers will test memory and thinking before and after surgery in up to 9,500 participants. The goal is to understand if losing weight can help slow or improve cognitive decline.
