New drug may curb appetite in overweight individuals

Summary

This study tests a medicine called cagrilintide to see how it affects appetite and how much people eat. About 120 adults with overweight or obesity will receive either the drug or a placebo for around 30 weeks. The goal is to measure changes in total energy intake from meals and snacks.
