First seen Jan 20, 2026 · Last updated May 02, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study tests whether a simple, 5-minute daily breathing exercise (inspiratory muscle strength training) can lower blood pressure and improve blood vessel health in postmenopausal women aged 50 and older with high blood pressure. It compares this breathing exercise to standard brisk walking. The goal is to find a time-saving alternative that works for women who find it hard to fit in regular exercise.
