First seen May 05, 2026 · Last updated May 05, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether a gentle, non-invasive brain stimulation (tDCS) combined with cognitive training can improve memory, thinking, and mood in people with mild cognitive impairment or early-stage dementia. Fifty participants will receive both real and placebo stimulation in random order, each for two months. Researchers will also look at how education and brain activity patterns affect results.
