Summary
This study aims to learn more about how the brain controls speech in people with Parkinson's disease, essential tremor, or dystonia. Researchers will record brain activity during speech tasks while participants undergo deep brain stimulation (DBS) surgery. The study does not test any new treatment, but hopes to improve future therapies. About 80 adults aged 18โ85 who are already scheduled for DBS surgery can take part.
