Summary

This study looks at bone health in 120 teens and young adults (ages 12-21) with obesity over 2 years. Some take GLP-1 weight-loss drugs, others use lifestyle changes. Researchers measure bone density and strength to see if the drugs affect bones differently. Participants also take calcium and vitamin D supplements.
