First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study aims to see if a new medical device, which combines a blood test with a short questionnaire, can accurately identify bipolar disorder in people who are currently experiencing a major depressive episode. About 623 adults in primary care will provide a blood sample and answer questions. The results will be compared to a full psychiatric evaluation to see how well the test works.
