New hope for young brain tumor patients: drug duo targets hard-to-treat gliomas

Summary
This early-stage study tests a new drug (BGB-290) combined with chemotherapy (temozolomide) in adolescents and young adults with IDH-mutant gliomas, a type of brain tumor. The goal is to find the safest dose and check for side effects. About 78 participants with newly diagnosed or recurrent tumors will take part.
