New cancer pill tested in major trial for dozens of tumor types

Summary
This study is testing a new oral drug called AZD5305 to see if it is safe and can help control advanced cancers. It is being tested alone and in combination with other cancer medicines in over 700 patients with various hard-to-treat solid tumors. The main goals are to find the right dose, check for side effects, and see if the treatment can shrink tumors or slow their growth.
