First seen Jan 14, 2026 · Last updated Apr 25, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study tests whether an attachment-based parenting program (ABC) can improve health outcomes in 260 low-income Latino children starting at 9 months old. Researchers will track common illnesses, sleep, weight, and inflammation over 15 months, comparing the program to a reading-focused control group. The goal is to see if strengthening parent-child bonds can lead to better physical health.
