Summary

This study compares two treatments for lung tumors: microwave ablation (using heat to kill cancer cells) and surgical wedge resection (removing a small piece of lung). It includes 74 adults with non-small cell lung cancer, sarcoma, or colorectal cancer that has spread to the lungs. The goal is to see which method better controls tumor regrowth and has fewer side effects.
