NCT ID NCT03626038

First seen Nov 03, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study looked at how well a metal plate (A.L.P.S. Proximal Humerus Plating System) works for fixing broken upper arm bones. It included 135 adults who needed surgery for a fresh fracture. The main goal was to see how many people needed another surgery within a year due to problems like screws poking through the bone or the plate shifting. The study also measured pain, function, and daily activities using a standard shoulder questionnaire.
