New hope for rare bone cancers: drug trial launches

Summary

This study tests a drug called zanzalintinib in people with advanced bone sarcomas that cannot be removed by surgery or have spread. About 70 adults with osteosarcoma, Ewing sarcoma, chondrosarcoma, or other bone sarcomas will take the drug to see if it can shrink or control the cancer. The main goal is to check safety and side effects.
