Targeted radiation zaps childhood brain tumors in early trial
NCT ID NCT07698899
First seen Jul 13, 2026 · Last updated Jul 14, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This phase 1 trial tests a drug called 177Lu-DTPA-omburtamab, which delivers radiation directly to tumor cells in children and teens with recurrent or refractory medulloblastoma or other central nervous system (CNS) tumors that have spread. The drug targets a protein called B7-H3 found on many cancer cells. The study aims to find the safest dose and check for side effects in up to 18 participants.
