Yoga study aims to ease cancer treatment burden for patients and families

NCT ID NCT03948100

Summary

This study is testing whether a yoga program for patients and their caregivers can improve physical function and quality of life during radiation treatment for lung or esophageal cancer. It will compare yoga sessions to educational sessions to see which helps patients walk farther and feel better. The goal is to reduce common treatment side effects like fatigue, poor sleep, and low mood for both patients and the family members supporting them.
