First seen May 13, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tested a four-month telephone program called Y-AMBIENT designed to help young African American women (ages 18-44) with stage I-III breast cancer manage daily life during chemotherapy or radiation. The program included educational sessions, follow-up calls, and videos. The goal was to see if the program was acceptable and could improve quality of life, social support, and reduce stress. The study was terminated early, so results are limited.
