First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study re-evaluates wound closure in 105 people with venous leg ulcers or diabetic foot ulcers, using photos from an earlier trial. Researchers compared two dressings—AQUACEL Ag+ and Cutimed Sorbact—by having a blinded expert judge whether wounds fully closed by 12 weeks. The goal was to confirm earlier findings with an unbiased review of photographic evidence.
