First seen Nov 17, 2025 · Last updated May 02, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study looks at whether eating wild blueberries can help lower blood pressure and improve blood vessel health in middle-aged and older men and postmenopausal women with slightly high blood pressure. About 58 participants will eat blueberries and have their artery function and stiffness measured. The goal is to see if the natural compounds in blueberries can reduce oxidative stress and inflammation that damage blood vessels.
