Summary

This study follows 60 adults who completed a weight loss program 3 years ago. Participants wear activity trackers and use a phone app to log meals for 28 days.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

What this could lead to

If successful, this study could reveal which daily habits (like exercise timing or sleep) help people keep weight off long-term, pointing to better weight maintenance strategies.

What could go wrong

This is an observational follow-up, not a treatment trial, so it cannot prove cause and effect. Results may not apply to people who didn't join the original weight loss program.
