Paramedics Video-Call brain doctors to speed stroke care

NCT ID NCT06570681

Summary

This study tests whether a live video call between paramedics on scene and a hospital neurologist can improve the accuracy of diagnosing a stroke before the patient arrives at the hospital. Faster and more accurate diagnosis in the ambulance could help get patients the right treatment more quickly, which is critical for recovery. The trial will involve over 500 adults suspected of having a stroke.
