Scientists track how pee problems predict other illnesses in seniors
NCT ID NCT07357714
Summary
This study aims to understand the relationship between urinary function (like bladder control and flow) and the development of other common age-related health problems, such as diabetes, heart disease, and high blood pressure. It will follow 500 Beijing residents aged 60 and older over time, checking their health with surveys, urine tests, and physical measurements every 6-12 months. The goal is to gather information to help identify seniors at higher risk for multiple health issues and to design better community health programs.
