First seen Jan 22, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study follows 500 Beijing residents aged 60 and older to understand how urinary function (like bladder and kidney health) is connected to multiple chronic conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes, and heart disease. Participants will have regular health checkups, blood and urine tests, and questionnaires every 6-12 months for several years. The goal is to identify early warning signs and create tools to help communities better monitor and manage these age-related health problems.
