Summary

This study tested whether a procedure called a stellate ganglion block (SGB), given with standard medication, could improve thinking and memory in people with Alzheimer's disease. Forty participants were randomly assigned to receive either SGB plus standard drugs or standard drugs alone. The main goal was to see if the SGB group had better cognitive scores one month after treatment, and the study also tracked anxiety, depression, and quality of life over six months.
