NCT ID NCT07524101

First seen Apr 20, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study compares two cholesterol-lowering approaches in about 1,950 adults with chronic kidney disease and heart or blood vessel disease. One group gets a moderate statin plus ezetimibe, the other a high-dose statin alone. The goal is to see which strategy better prevents major heart problems like heart attack or stroke while being safer for the kidneys.
