Kitchen spices meet science: can curcumin and CoQ10 gels stop mouth cancer before it starts?
NCT ID NCT07331935
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether gels made with coenzyme Q10 or curcumin can shrink or stabilize precancerous white patches in the mouth called oral leukoplakia. About 34 adults with mild patches that don't need surgery will apply the gel daily. The goal is to see if these antioxidants can reduce lesion size and lower the risk of cancer, using saliva tests to measure stress in the body.
