First seen Feb 24, 2026 · Last updated Apr 24, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study tests a new imaging device called the Active Biopsy Guidance System. It helps doctors decide when and where to take tissue samples (biopsies) from suspicious mouth lesions. The goal is to see if the device can accurately identify which lesions need a biopsy, potentially reducing unnecessary procedures. About 90 adults with mouth lesions will participate.
