Texting your way to a dry day: study tests phone nudges for post-surgery incontinence

NCT ID NCT07071207

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether daily text message reminders to do pelvic floor exercises can help men recover bladder control faster after prostate surgery. About 132 men who are planning to have prostate surgery will be split into two groups: one gets the text reminders, the other does not. Researchers will track how long it takes each group to regain continence using a standard questionnaire.
