First seen Feb 03, 2026 · Last updated May 11, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) and isometric exercise to standard medication can improve blood pressure in people with resistant hypertension. Researchers will compare two groups of 25 adults aged 50-60: one doing TENS plus exercise, and the other doing a standard physical therapy program. The goal is to see if the combination can reduce blood pressure and improve heart health.
