NCT ID NCT07247422
First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study tests a temporary pacing technique to slow the heart rate in people with atrial fibrillation (a common heart rhythm problem) whose hearts beat too fast and who cannot take standard medications. The approach uses gentle electrical pulses to calm the heart's electrical signals, aiming to avoid the need for permanent pacemakers or risky procedures. About 33 participants will be followed for one month to see if the method is safe and effective.
