Summary
This pilot study tested whether remote check-ups (using a chatbot questionnaire and video calls) could work as well as in-person visits for people who had weight-loss surgery. Only 7 adults living far from the hospital took part. The goal was to see if this approach could improve follow-up rates and patient experience, but the study was stopped early, so results are limited.
